I was born and raised in the US, earning a double bachelors degree in broadcast journalism and German from the University of Maryland. I have always been a devout sports follower, and moved to Germany to specifically cover the German Bundesliga. I have been doing that every year since the 2015-2016 season, be it as a writer, photographer or broadcaster. I hope to have many more years on the sidelines and on the mic.
I have also worked for Deutsche Welle, Germany's international public broadcaster, since 2016. I have had my work published online and broadcast on radio. That has taken me from the 2017 World Transplant Games in Malaga, Spain to the world's largest comic festival with more than half-a-million fellow nerds in Tokyo.
I am willing and ready to go anywhere, anytime to cover sports, even if it isn't the Bundesliga. Or if you need a nerd, I'll be more than happy to put on my anime t-shirt and take you through comic world.
